Kate graduated from the University of Sheffield, with a degree in Law, and began her career working for a large IT company, within their HR department. A few years later, she decided to spend a year soaking up the sun in Sydney, where she worked in Resourcing. Before her return to the UK, Neil presented her with an opportunity she couldn’t refuse – setting up Your Great Escape.
As co-founder of the business, Kate keeps tabs on just about everything while the rest of us go about our daily business. Kate spends most of her time in the office – whether she’s busy meticulously planning events, or looking after sales & marketing, her eye is always on the ball.
Kate’s expertise lies in the organisation of team building events, corporate fun days, evening events, and above all, writing microscopically small post-it notes, which only she can decipher.
Kate enjoys a busy social life, and never seems to stop organising, even outside work. When she does find time to unwind, she enjoys holidays to France, where she’s often found walking up mountains, or struggling on skis!
