How about this for an exciting team challenge! Your team will be challenged to construct a working trebuchet catapult using the medieval equivalent of a “flat pack” kit and rudimentary plans. You will be required to work as team to build the trebuchet which stands over 8ft tall and fires projectiles as far as 50 ft. Before the competition is underway you will have time to practice, deciding on the best set-up for the arm pivot point, amount of counter weight and release mechanism all under the guidance of our expert instructors.
For larger groups, we will stage a finale competition where all trebuchets line up and aim to score points from the same target. Our trebuchet challenge is a superb team building event, suited perfectly to countryside venues. Excitement and laughter are guaranteed, whilst promoting strong team ethics throughout.
